Its long gone now, but I believe it had an Allan screw you loosen and just push it off with your fingers, or at most a very light tap to get it going.

I've got a GSG 1911-22 in which I installed the CWA Performance Kit. What I found was that the barrel bushing was so close fitting on the barrel that after the first round was fired, the slide wouldn't go back into battery without a slight push from the rear. CWA suggested polishing the barrel when I contacted them.So my father-in-law bought a GSG 1911-22 in Arizona. He would like to give it to my wifeb, but it has a threaded barrel which is not allowed in California where we are. I can't find a replacement barrel anywhere let alone without threads. Install the new sight and tighten the Allen screw until the sight just stops sliding. DON'T overtighten the Allen screw.May 11, 2022 ... I don't know about the conversion kits, but GSG recommends only high-velocity for its complete guns. Some of the GSG 1911-22 guns will run with standard velocity.
