Your specs should definitely be fine, I have played Rlcraft with Sildurs with much lower specs. (Also RLCraft is kind of beautiful even without Shaders lol Generally I at least allocate 4 to 8 gigs of RAM, usually for me it runs quite well (for me). It is absolutely fun with friends, this is the best torture you can subject them (and yourself) to.

Certain baubles in RLCraft (dragon eye, ring of enchanted eyes) give night vision. Many shaders make night vision useless or ineffective. I don't know about any shaders that are compatible with night vision, but I know a few that aren't : KUDA (visual glitch), SEUS (very little change, almost unnoticeable), Chocapic (very little or no change).

Mess around with the shader settings like shadow depth and whatnot. Uninstall and reinstall rlcraft and a the shaders. Go into the mods and disable some of the stuff that just gives aesthetic feels, some of that stuff might be screwing with the shaders.
