Price was good for my area, and it had an excellent CarFax with consistent service records, one owner, no accidents, etc. I love it.On the other hand, the CR-V is quieter, has better interior, lane centering, audio system, driving feel, mechanical AWD, and has much more space inside. The CR-V will also probably not have the dealer markup Toyotas do as well. As far as the power goes, the CR-V hybrid has about 80 more lb-ft of torque than the RAV4 hybrid has.

Night and day difference. Hybrid is the way to go. Over all Smoother, quiter driving experience. Disliked the 8 speed tranny. I immediately missed the quick responsiveness of the e-cvt and the electric motors. I got 22 mpg on the adventure. I easily get 35-42mpg on my hybrid without trying. There is no real downside to the hybrid. Family of 4, daughters are 12 and 9. We came from a minivan to our RAV so there was a slight change for everyone due to reduce space. We now pack less for everyday use, but we are ok with that. We’ll be taking our RAV and popup trailer for a month long road trip from WA -> OR -> ID -> WY -> SD -> MN -> ND -> MT -> ID -> WA. The RAV4 is not as big as you think , its taller and you ride higher, but its footprint is closer to the prius then it is to a full size suv. The prius entire focus is on mpg, mine drove fine but it was slow and heavy, sometimes felt like a boat. Its all about aerodynamics, and being able to coast through winds.
