Bounce trap elevator, basically build a tall wall and every 2 or so walls place a bounce trap and clip it slightly through the wall, after construction you should be able to just walk up to the wall and it will shoot you up. There would be no useless ziplines, because anyone with half a functioning brain cell would just make a fucking harness and clip on, giving exactly the same effect as current. It's both an un-fun mechanic and one that is not internally logical in the game world. Pretty sure they're not dumb enough to do that.You can recycle the zip line (returns half web) and then move the base and re-string. That's still not a good solution seeing as how everything grows back and recycling is still a pain in the ass with spider webs. Place a clay/pebblet foundation over the spot where the grass grew to prevent regrowth.
