It is a 1951 manufacture date. The barrel is stamped 38 Colt NP CTG. The box list it as a Detective Special and the caliber as Police Positive 38. It is 100% legitimate with the serial number matching box and in brand-new unfired condition. I am just curious as to if anybody else has seen these.
