Porting a game from Eu4 to Vic3 leads to some interesting worlds. R5: ported my Papal States to Kingdom of God run in Eu4 to Vic3 and ended up with a really cool alternate history 1444-1919. To summarize, imagine no crusades happen post-1444, Italian province united under papacy in 1470s and new world is discovered by Papal States in 1480s.

Vic 3 has a much smaller emphasis on conquest compared to eu4. To caveat however. If you don't colonise and get oil/rubber you are going to be severely limited in the lategame.
