In both I have had the no key detected issue and in both cases it turned out to be the vehicle battery was down, not the fob battery. Replaced the vehicle battery and all was well again. I agree there needs to be a manual override. Could be serious if you were out in the sticks with no cell service! ralph7up.

We need a good diagnostic tool to test, proceed, and program. Likely after the repairs, key programming will also be needed. That requires 2 keys.
