The mazda's green light is totaly different then the honda's green light. In your mazda its a message related to the proximity keys signal which would have to do with the battery. The immobilizer uses a red light for you. For honda's the green light is only for immobilizer. No keyless start for honda's on these years. –

The immobilizer green key is flashing and whats very odd is that when I remove the keys from the ignition the gauge cluster, MPH, Tach etc including windows will all stay on and functional indefinitely.

I am creating my own thread to this issue, since my car is brand new (3 months old with 3800 miles) Last night I went to go to the store and the car would not crank, the green key light is flashing and my keys will not lock or unlock the car, it cranks for about 2 seconds and dies.
