BH209 is a BP sub. It is fine for all BP guns if used correctly. Measured by volume equivilemt of BP. I personally measure 5 shots by volume and average them on a scale. Then I weight the amount. When I was using BH209 I used 90 gr weighed behind a 325 FTX. My Knight disc, and others in our camp with a disc, have found it to me great stuff.
Hi guys, I just finished a test of Blackhorn 209 powder pushing the 260 gr Harvester PT Gold bullet out of my Omega rifle. I mounted a leupold 3-9X40 MZ scope with the BC reticle and zeroed at 100 yds as instructed. Using 100 grs, measured in one of the Blackhorn 209 tubes, I seated the PT Gold bullet in a yellow TC sabot and shot groups at 100yd, 200yd and 300yd.It is a little more work to change and keep clean. BH209 is the best thing going for 209 ignition inlines. It is pricey, but its measured by volume and not weight, so 10oz roughly equates to the same volume as BP. In my Omega I've shot as many as 40 shots without cleaning, and the last shot loaded just as easily as the 2nd.
