Glock 19 vs xd.
As an owner of a Glock 19 and M&P9 I say get the H&K P30. After shooting one a couple weeks ago they are MUCH better (my opinion) all around than the others. I've never held a pistol that fits nicer in my hand (even my Les Baer). What a sweet, soft shooting pistol. Wow. I will be selling the Glock to buy one this fall.
The Glock 30 slide is 1.125'' thick (same as the 38 45 GAP) The Springfield XD 45 compact is 1.1'' thick and tapers to .95. The 45 XD compact is very close to being the same overall size as the Glock 38 in 45 GAP. XD Sub Compact vs. Glock 26 - 9mm. Stopped by local gun store (Shooters Supply in Loveland) and had a great session of reviewing the various CCW 9mm options. I went in with the XD SC 9 as my primary choice, but after comparing it the Glock 26 sure seems like a strong contender. Seems a little smaller and easier to conceal, etc.
