Don't put the receiver directly in a vise... this is looking for disaster. Then you need to unscrew the barrel nut with the HK universal tool.Both versions of the .22 kit will run in FA if you have a proper FA trigger pack. There is nothing else needed as far as I know. Pull the butt stock, remove the .308 carrier, drop in the barrel liner, and the .22 conversion bolt, reinstall the butt stock, and you are ready to rock. Short one is G3, long one is HK91. Both will work in both guns. If you use the G3 kit in the 91 put a piece of tubing on the recoil spring so that you can't pull the bolt back too far when charging. I have a ptr91kfm-4 that I shoot with irons at 200 and 300 and its alot handier ,being shorter and all.I've never had much luck with the standard HK91 accuracy, couldn't even get 2MOA out of it. Even with a supposedly more accurate polygonal barrel.
