I have a 2012 Kia Sorento LX and there was recently a lot of rain in my area, and with the rain came a water leak on the driver side in the front. I couldn't trace it back but i believe its coming from the door seal considering only the floor is wet. The water pump is to blame if you ever see a pool of coolant or water beneath the car’s front end. Solution: Anytime you discover a problem with the water pump, you should immediately replace it. Is there a cowel vent drain plugged ? You can hear water sloshing back & forth under the dash and the water drains fast in left turns into the passenger footwell.
My sister-in-law has a Rio5 and has noticed a weird smell/water dripping on the passenger side. When looking underneath the water continuously drips from the weeping hole (I assume it's meant to be a weeping hole) on the bottom of the blower motor. The same heater core supplies heat to both the driver and passenger sides, so if you're sure you have decent heat on one side and not the other, then nothing 'system-wide' would be the issue -- it would likely be a failure of the 'blend motor' for the passenger side.

It looks like at one point it splashed or sprayed from somewere due to the way some droplets look. Any idea what this is.
