I then took that cover off to make sure the roller hadn't come off the pawl arm and that the spring pushing against the arm was still there and complete.

On my Ford Ranger, the pistons in the calipers were plastic and that's why they locked up. The plastic piston gets worn and then gets slightly cockeyed in the bore and so it gets stuck outward. 2016 Ranger 900 XP Ground Issues. New to the forum and this is my first post. Last night I was out checking water tanks and mineral tubs on the Polaris. I shut off the machine to do a few things.
