I had a 2004 R1150R that had a large amount of engine vibration while traveling at 75-80 mph. So bad that the mirrors were useless. My 2005 R1200GS had almost no noticeable vibration at any speed. My 2014 R1200GS seems to be even smoother. '15 R1200GSA. Change that out and problem solved. The brake warning light and speedo failure is due to the controller receiving a signal that it isn't expecting from the ABS ring, when this happens it kills the speedo and lights the brake fail warning lamp to get your attention and demanding action. 2013 R1200GSW. Some of the advantages I see for the BMW are: 1) Resale value holds a lot better. 2) Engine Performance is better on the BMW. 3) Suspension feel is better due to the telelever system.

Could not be happier with the bike, and would definitely buy again. In addition, if I could only own one bike, the GS definitely would be it.
