Student Doctor Network (SDN) is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1999 for prehealth and health professional students in the United States and Canada. It focuses on nine core healthcare professions: medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy , physical therapy, podiatry, psychology, rehabilitation medicine, and veterinary medicine. Podiatry isn't brain surgery and we can all do HTs, bunions, limb salvage. Sure we don't all do RF/trauma stuff, but most orthos don't do rotationplasties and many don't even do like, knee replacements. Some plastic surgeons only do breast augs. And there are bad docs everywhere.

Both schools still accept plenty of students with DAT scores. Many of the first year class at Temple submitted DAT scores. NYCPM will beg you to come to their school if your DAT score is high. Also, the very top of our class has both DAT and MCAT students. The argument against DAT scores being accepted is bogus.Of all the careers I searched, Podiatry is the only profession in the military that receives no bonus pay/incentives etc. Every other profession listed in SDN is paid more. I was told Podiatry is also very hard to advance rank in.AZPOD - no problem with online classes if you are for some reason living abroad or out of the country. DMU - maximum of three (3) online classes with labs. Both California schools are not that fond of online courses and labs.
