Thoughts on PT 940. I am considering the purchase of a PT 940 and would like your thoughts and/or reviews of this pistol. I would be using it as a CCW as well as a hole puncher. The only other Taurus that I own is a PT 1911 with over 1000 rds. fired without any hiccups. Your insight would be very helpful.

Easy-Peasy. First remove the extractor by driving the pin out. That pin has a head so it is removed from inside the slide to outside, see below schematic #4. The downside, as I see it, is you will never find a holster for a PT-945 with this thing hung under the barrel. It's already hard enough to find one for it as is. You'll have to make your own. I'd suggest getting busy on the basics of shooting. No, I didn't shoot at my wife, she's too good a cook. Anyway, I noticed my trigger finger kept getting pinched between the trigger and pistol frame.
