That's the only bit that doesn't add up to me, since as far as I know, the key is mechanically connected to the lock - there's nothing electrical that happens. Meaning, you can lock/unlock the door with the battery disconnected. That aside, it does sound like something electrical. I initially did just a battery 12VDC Cable disconnect and it did NOT fix the problem. Disconnecting BOTH the Ground and 12VDC cables and jumpering them for 30+ seconds caused a system reset. Radio doesn't play, and no sound comes via bluetooth. DVD works fine. Turning off the engine and opening the door to shut off the audio system will sometimes fix the problem for a short while, but it recurs. Post-recall (rear camera recall), my cross-traffic warning stopped working. I fixed it with these steps. 1. Gear in reverse. Camera screen activated. 2. There are 4 options on the touch screen. Wide, Normal, Down and <<<- >>> On/Off. 3. Toggle the cross-traffic option on-off-on. That seemed to reset the cross-traffic sensor. Good luck

Anything is possible due to the accident and also stuff that just happens. I would start with a wiring diagram for the headlight/taillight circuit. We are having ongoing issues with the DVD player not playing properly and have taken into the dealership and they’ve done little to nothing to repair it or replace the entire system. This has been going on for over a year.

Slide Door light on the dash. The door would not open via any electronic means. Pulling fuse 7 will reset the door and make it work for a while, but sooner than later, the dash light is back and door does not open. This problem is caused by the rear latch on the sliding door. You need to replace the rear latch.
