A light weight red dot with a light weight magnifier will be lighter than any LPVO I am aware of (don't forget to factor in the weight of the mount with an LPVO). That said, there are plenty of light weight LPVO's. With a light weight mount, you can keep them in the ballpark of a red / dot mangnifier combo.

It's the lightest QD mount yeah, the lightest LPVO mount is the Aero Precision one at 3oz - which is non-QD. I wouldn’t trust that. I don’t think you’ll save much weight changing the mount.
