The 1.7 TC is still ok if you stop down to f/8...I figured you would at least have a 130 keepers out of 13,000. Lol. Seriously, that is about correct nowdays with the high frame rates of mirrorless bodies.

Feb 12, 2018 · The 24-120 is weakest around 85-120mm, where I definitely need to stop down at least one stop. It's also less than perfect in the corners at 24mm. I tend to bring my 85/1.8 along for situations that need more wide open sharpness and better bokeh, and my 16-35 to cover the weakness at 24mm. Cheers. On a few occassions with a fully charged battery the low battery charge indicator has appeared on my D700 and I have lost power. After reinserting the battery power is restored and everything is fine. It's happened about half a dozen times over the last few months.
