I have a build in the guides section that uses psychokineticist for fire/fire. With the acolyte background it can get high persuasion for use with deadly carnage. For pure fire/fire builds there really isn't a downside to using pscyhokineticist over regular kineticist, because fire/fire doesn't care about combat maneuver bonus.

For example for kinesicist, I have heard people saying that earth and fire are the deal for damage, but right now for example, my lvl7 kinecist thunderstorm (air + lightning) hits at 20-60 damages, looks more than decent to me.

I was thinking about going fire-fire as its the only composite energy blast, but I don't know if that's a good strategy in the long run. If you're talking about the ability to just non-stop nuke, kinetecist is likely the best choice simply because they never run out and mostly focus on spamming and modifying that one nuke.
