Hi all, I am new to hi-fi. I just got my PSW404 sub to complement my RTi4s (front) and also a new CSi3. The tech guy at the store suggested I connect the sub cable from the Pre-out of the Amp (Denon 1707) to the Right LFE (filtered) IN on the sub - the ?phase on the sub is turned to 160. I could not find anything on the manual on this type of connection. I have set the "80 Hz / Full Range" switch to Full Range, and the "Low Pass" knob set to the minimum, 60 Hz. Volume knob is set to just under 50%. My understanding is that this means anything 60 Hz or lower will be handled by the subwoofer, and anything higher will be handled by the speakers.
