Colquitt Funeral Home was established in 1941 by H. Roy and Lucille McKinstry, Sr. They operated the funeral home and ambulance service for Colquitt and Miller County until 1949 when their son, H. Roy McKinstry, Jr. returned from the Navy to help run the family business. Roy (Porky) McKinstry, Jr. married Dorothy Oldham in 1949.The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one with stories, music, or scripture.
