Easy in terms of map conquering probably Aserai, Vlandia or Southern Empire. Easy in terms of gameplay, depends on how you play but probably Vlandia, Battania or Khuzait. I personally find Battania to be the most op because you can melt enemy troops and outmaneuver enemy infantry to utilize the archers even more. Legionaries have very high defence and Menavalions are one-hit wonders. But they are not op like some other troops and can be challenged by most other factions infantries. In my experience; Sturgian infantry soak up arrows best with their shield-wall, but that’s pretty much the only one-up they have. Vlandian Pikemen are really lousy and outclassed by Vlandian Sergeants. Imperial Palatine Guards seem almost completely outclassed by Imperial Sergeant Crossbowmen. It's either the crossbowmen or Bucellarii imo.
