CVA has one called the Dead On 1 piece, there's no bases to use with these types of scope mounts, it's all one piece and eliminates the stacking things on top of things. Thanks, I was literally just looking at those but they state a 2200 fps maximum, and mention 45-70 but not .444 Marlin (@2300-2400 fps), probably because the gas pressure at the muzzle will be much higher than for the lower pressure 45-70 cartridge.
