Space dismounts and the bird lands. no it doesn't. Spacebar makes the bird land then dismounts you. Hit the U key a couple of times, almost stops immediately. As mentioned above, use spacebar to dismount instead of 'E'. Also be ready to use your 'Stop" whistle (default 'Y') to stop it from wandering away.

Dimorphodon aren't rideable, but boy do they make a good attack squad. Argentavis can still carry things, and could be useful on mountains.
