From what I've seen on here you need to go to the twilight forest dimension. I would assume you could trade those dudes in the nether, assuming they'll still spawn if you build a big platform there. There is allthemodium ore inside the hills that spawn in the twilight forest. Pretty okay to find since they emit light.

These tunnels are at y = -30 and y = 1. Starting from the height I specified, there is Allthemodium Ore to be found in the expected amount.

If you have nuggets of allthemodium, its best to mine around 20 to 0 y level in "The Mining Dimension". You can get nugs from piglin trading. In atm 7 (1.18.1) its in mountain type biomes. Natures compass shows the type of all the biome as there isn't one just called mountain any more. Apparently it exists from y 20 down but is rare or more commonly (not like iron common) above y170. You can see the odd bit here and there on exposed rock on peaks as you jetpack around looking.
