Thank you for the advice. I'm definitely trying to figure out what I need to do - whether that's leaving or finding something new. From what I've found so far, Habitica really does seem to be the top app for this kind of thing, so I am trying to determine if there's something else I need to do, or if changing the way I approach Habitica would help.

Yes, that's it. Planning things stresses me out, and the pleasant sensation of ticking things off and getting rewarded for it is not enough to offset the stress. 😂glad to know there are some people hating planning in the world. Well, I think people won't come to this community if they don't use this app anymore... Habitica - basically a habit tracking app, with the spin that it gamifies your habits (like an RPG). For instance, if you don't complete a daily task, or if you do a bad habit, you loose health. If you complete your tasks you earn experience and gold (which you can spend on in game items like equipment and animals). It takes around 30 extra seconds, but it's a good tradeoff for me because it's actually making habits that will last without Habitica. Also, you still end up getting the same amount of rewards. TL;DR The rewards system is ineffective at creating actual habits. Use Habitica to its full potential by following 3 easy steps!

I use Habitica for longterm goals and Todoist for daily tasks like shopping lists, but if I don't add them by hand to Habitica, I don't get any reward for them.
