Improve Yuzu performance. I installed Yuzu via Emudeck (using the latest AppImage) but the games I tried (Mario Strikers, Zelda Link's Awakening) run only with 10-20 FPS. Emudeck told me to only activate 4 CPU cores via Power Tools plugin but that did not noticeably improve the performance.

The main problem is not Steam Deck's lack of power. The Switch is specifically constructed. The very details in the Firmware, OS etc the Switch use, are closed source. So, it is very hard to make a perfect emulator. So, even with the best Computer Hadrware, there are possibilities, that some Switch games will lag.
Use Cemu, not Yuzu. Use cemu. Try clearing your shader caches. failing that toggle barrier feedback loops. Although, Yuzu is not really a good fit for botw - you should be using CEMU.
