It happened to me a while back. Does you computer meet the credetials? Have you tried deleting it from you computer compleatly, if not do that. You also want to check if the firewall on your computer is not letting geometry dash through, if you have a firewall try turning it off and open gd. If that works the it is your fire wall. If you think you're experiencing the same problem, go to Device Manager > Display adaptors > [your graphics driver] > Right click > Properties > Driver > Rollback. After I uninstalled the update, the game started working right then. I didn't even have to restart Steam.

Geometry dash won't open Whenever I press the play button it tries to launch the game, but the window never opens and a few seconds after pressing play it switches from the stop button back to the play button as if I never opened it.
