About the LVHN Family Medicine Residency Program: The Lehigh Valley Family Medicine Residency is a well established program, with a recognized history of excellence in resident education. This is an ACGME accredited program with Osteopathic Recognition. The residency is expanding and now accepts eight residents per year. Curriculum. Our residency follows a traditional block schedule that encourages a deep exposure to the broad spectrum of care necessary for rural family medicine. Through longitudinal experiences at the outpatient continuity family medicine practice sites, residents develop a panel of patients whom they follow during their three years.
