Sepulcher: Boss. Destiny 2's Witch Queen expansion introduced Savathun's Throne World, a new activity space that features The Wellspring and three new Lost Sectors. Sepulcher is one such Lost Sector and is arguably the easiest of the bunch. So long as you have a good loadout, you should be able to farm Sepulcher without much issue.
legend/master lost sector loot sucks. i've been trying to get another pair of path of the burning steppes by farming master lost sectors since i deleted my old ones, because they had bad stats. i'm at ~800-900 master lost sector completions just trying to get them to drop, but i just can't get them. all i'm getting is lion rampants and mk.44 ...Getting just glimmer or a blue just sucks. Running the same lost sector 5-10 times and still no exotic, makes me not want to play. I know a LOT of this is due to my own physical limits but it would be nice if everyone had something they could work towards at endgame. Legend/master lost sectors need some sort of bad luck protection.Not asking for a handout, but that 5% difference in drop chance for master vs legendary, considering the difficulty difference, is far too small. If I had to guess I'd say the Legendary lost sector drop rate is around 10% and master is around 20% to 25%. Last seasons lost sector exotics are now in the general exotic pool. So, you are correct, you can get the gloves from a random drop. For example, I got Necrotic Gloves from the nightfall last night.Keep that in mind. Fill up on engrams, and fill whatever slot matches the lost sector. Whenever you loot an exotic it will go to the postmaster as an engram instead. The knockout system is intended to help people, especially newcomers, get the exotics needed to do activities and prevent people from failing to get something (e.g. Gjallarhorn). For the lost sector to do this, first Bungie would need to create a system for weapons and then also put those on a rotation too.
Feedback: There should be a weekly challenge at the cryptarch per character. Clearing a legend or master lost sector drops a powerful or pinnacle (respectively) exotic you don’t possess. Then it should be a cumulative 10% to 25% (respectively) chance per clear for another drop. They should also be high stated.

Sure it won't be targeted to a specific armour slot, but the ones that drop have great stats. Plus some GMs only take 20 min or less for a clear and a guaranteed exotic drop vs sometimes spending an hour or two trying to get 1 exotic from even a master lost sector.

GMs are guaranteed to drop exotic armor, and master nightfalls, drop far more regularly than lost sectors. Then on top of that you stack double rewards and you'll be rolling in exotics.
