Both involve almost the same weapons: quasar, grog/rubi, CL, Leg Cat, Fire Sandhawk. The difference is that the slower way will use something like a corrosive pimp to slowly kill the minions, while ...Infinity may be somewhat overrated as a damage dealing gun, but it is seriously powerful in a lot of ways given the right build or combat situation. As to the accuracy of the Infinity, it really becomes a lot less of a problem as you get better at using it. It's not supposed to be a long range weapon anyways.This is my maya build. If you don't like how the Pimpernel works you can use the Lyuda (which eats ammo) or just BeeHawk with that skillset or similar.If you want to shoot the ground and kill everything, go with Gaige. If you want to destroy everything that stands in your way, go with Salvador. If you want to create hell, go with Kreig. If you want to focus on CC and self heals, go with Maya. If you want to have a back up that will distract/nuke enemies, go with Axton.
Maya and axton and Krieg are best at mobbing. Gaige can suck if you don't have the right gear or a lot of anarchy. Sal is just broken. Zero is way too low, one of the best characters for both melee or sniper. All are very good in their own aspects and they all have builds that can beat all the raid bosses.

Some of the weapons that are good for Axton are going to be the weapons that benefit from grenade damage increase. Once you get down to Reaper, you should be melting lots of HP, especially with a Class Mod that boosts it. Consider a Cat class mod and some good SMGs for maximum synergy/damage output.This is how I roll Siren in team builds. Lots of healing for you and your teammates with a little extra Damage and Bullet Speed so you can heal them even faster. Also remember that enemies stay still but your friends don't.
