QuestBridge doesn't make that decision; rather, the schools decide which finalists will be "matched" or accepted via regular decision. If I could make one suggestion for QuestBridge, it would be to provide more essay assistance for applicants accepted as part of the program and, more importantly, applicants who become finalists. QuestBridge is most for applicants within this range or more if there are circumstances like medical bills or debt. If you are not low income then it might not be best to apply. Find the Revised Match Rankings form. Then it'll present you with the list of ranks. You click on them and can rearrange/drop the ones you've picked. You can only do this once. Look at the range of colleges on the Questbridge site and don't get fixated on the top 20 ranking. QB has 40 college partners and they may add more next year. There are a lot of liberal arts colleges on the list where you will get a solid education and graduate with excellent job prospects, but without the Big Name.
