Oct 19, 2017 · There is one wreck where people have consistently said they found the drill arm and that is in the second Grand Reef wreck at these coordinates: -865 -430 -1420. Go there and look through the entire wreck. Bring a lasercutter and a flashlight or a Seaglide (use with Swimcharge Fins to avoid using up battery).
Just west of the mountain island (sunbeam) I got one of the drill, propulsion, and grapple there, I heard someone suggest dunes but watch out for reapers. I found both drill and grapple next to each other at a wreck in the south east of map 200m-300m deep.
