F150 4 inch lift with 33s.

2004 - 2008 Ford F150 - 4 inch lift with 33's - I'm thinking about saving up for a 4 inch lift but I don't want to go any higher than a 33 inch tire. 33's should fit under stock 4x4, or 2.5 inch leveled 2wd. Of course, it all depends on the offset of the wheel, because you really shouldn't mount a 12.50 tire on a 7.5 inch rim. Just my opinion, it's been done and no bad has come, but I don't like the idea. I'd go with a body lift at least or you'll be trimming.

Yes. that year wont need a lift to run 33" tires. although the stock suspension is lousy so getting some newer springs, shocks and rear springs should be considered. a 4" lift would be easiest since all you would need is new coil springs.
