After hours and hours of tweaking, these are the settings that seemed perfect to me. Feel free to modify the FFB and Centering if you want a more aggressive setup :

So there is no way, even with 540 on 0.5 sens, you will will just never catch a slide. 540 mode with 1.0 (full) sens is equal to 270 on 0.5, so somewhere in there is the right setting.
