Pets aren’t children and people end relationships with each other all the time. So I think we shouldn’t shame people if they wish to end a relationship with a pet, especially where the pet is well trained, friendly, snd can easily find another home where it will be valued.Wild animals just don't belong in human society. Dogs don't belong stuck in your car, stuck alone in your home bored and alone, etc. They don't love their animals at all. If they did they wouldn't treat them like they do. I'm not saying all people don't care. To put it nicely with calling them names, I just think humanity's love is very misguided.Welcome to r/petfree! Please read this before commenting. I want to know everyone's reasons for being or wanting to be petfree.. For me, the biggest reason is that pets restrict my freedom. I'm the kind of person that likes to do things on a whim, sleep in/be lazy if I want to, take a spontaneous trip for a few days, sit in the bath for hours, stay out late or spend the night somewhere on an impulse, etc.

God only knows why since they take the disgustingly stinking dog pet. I would consider that to not be pet free. Cause they just don't have a pet, Yet. PristineCloud. • 2 yr. ago. Mother’s cats are driving me insane. Today for Christmas I got a new bath set from my sister, I was really excited to try it out. When I eventually went to the bathroom to run myself a bath, there was cat piss in the bath tub. I was obviously not only disgusted but upset too, I have OCD (clinical) and the thought of me laying in cat wee doesn .../r/dogs is a place for dog owners of all levels of knowledge, skill, and experience to discuss various topics related to responsible dog ownership. Dogs are like a religion to some people. Whenever someone invalidates a dog’s personhood, they take it as a very personal attack. They insist dogs are family because their dog is their family, and the implication that they aren’t someone else’s family just sends them into an existential crisis, so they insist that their priorities need to be everyone …Welcome to r/petfree! I think pet ownership, as it is in popular culture, is an entirely selfish endeavor; if someone isn't caring for an animal that already exists out of the goodness of their heart, then that animal as a pet just exists to be owned by them. Not being home a lot is a big reason I don't want pets. Welcome to r/petfree! Please read this before commenting. User Flairs are mandatory for participation in r/petfree. Don't know how to get one?
