One word of caution with a moving pad is that the bikes can slide, so you might get inadvertent rubbing. If the inside liner is soft - like microfiber, (Fox uses - micro-brushed inner lining to keep your tailgate scratch-free,) it shouldn't leave any scratches or marks. I've used multiple Fox pads with my former Ram 1500 and my R1T and haven't had any issues. The entire point of buying a tailgate pad is so I don't have to use additional things (bungy cords, tie downs, etc) to secure my bike. Every other pad on the market works just fine - how could Rivian fail their design in the 1 single place the bike actually contacts the tailgate pad?
