I think it doesn't explicitly state 2.4ghz in the app but some devices with 2.4 ghz work fine. Spectrum is being tricky and hiding both networks in 1 which some devices are fine with and others you are SOL fpr no f-ing reason other them forcing this shitty app down our throats and removing features that every other company has had for years.

My wife’s work from home PC uses Global Protect VPN and the speed is terrible. Her VPN is sending all traffic through the vpn and not splitting the traffic. When she turns off the VPN we are getting The same speeds as other machines in the room on the same network around 120mbps. As soon as the VPN is turned on the speed plummets to 3.4mbps.
